...it's 1984.
The band Oingo Boingo. Drawn in ballpoint. Used some reference, but didn't copy specific photograps. Comments Awwww! I love it, they're all so adorable! Especially Steve
 ! I'm wondering whether Leon might have a longer face than this... but he looks like Leon anyway, what else do we want  And Avila is CUTE! He does have enormous eyes doesn't he? Very good job at giving him those without making it resemble Anime  And Ribbs reminds me of Squeezit  Hat and glasses and all. Nyaw! I mean, he definitely looks like Ribbs. But the glasses!  He looks like Squeezit in photos, too, either Squeezit or Tim! Makes you wonder what Danny's priorities are for casting band members, ahem. *cough* Anyway, good work!   I know! Ribbs is such a total Squeezit!
I was halfway done drawing the hat, and looked up some pictures for hair length et cetera, and I just fell over laughing when I realized why he looked so damn familiar. Imagine if Ribbs would score one of Matthew's movies. The universe would explode with sheer Geek. -- "Is there, an accordion playing clown in the house?" -Danny Elfman  Oh definitely! Hm, I do wonder what Ribbs looks like NOW though. He's got dreadlocks.

I adore the way the whole piece has been woven together, and how each member represents their instrument, and how each flows into another. All of your art is amazingly well constructed, this one especially. And Ribbs. Ribbs and his HUGE Squeezit-like glasses. Lovely. You can certainly tell who everyone is, and also what they play, if you didn’t know already.
Oh my, it’s just perfect  . woot! words fail me. i'm going to favorite this. right. now.
